What to buy in Scotland?

Having holidays of your life in Scotland? That’s just great! Probably you’d like to share your enthusiasm with your friends and family and buy them something connected with Scotland. Some would say best souvenir from Scotland would be whisky. If not whisky, what about Scottish food? Yes, it sounds a little bit revolutionary, but why not? So if you’d like to surprise someone buy some Scottish food.

Haggis could be good idea. It is sold in cans, so you can transport it easily. If haggis is too disgusting for you, let’s think of something else.

You may not know about it, but some of world’s finest cheeses are made in Scotland. Consider buying cheddar, crowdie, caboc or strathkinness. Maybe something sweet? Shop for fudge or shortbread!

Of course you cannot forget about kilts. There are a lot of specialized shops in which you can buy this traditional Scottish outfit. All you have to worry about is price and pattern, and the choice can be hard. If your budget is low, you can buy some accessories such as kilt flashes, kilt hose, belts or sporran.

When you see tartan, you think of Scotland. It is distinctive of Scotland and worldwide connected with Scottish Highlands. Tartans are nowadays registered by clans, families and institutions.
